Sunderman Conservatory Open House 2021

    The open house will include faculty and student panels, special sessions highlighting aspects of the Conservatory such as Music Education, the opportunity to attend a class, lunch with current music students, and more!

    Thursday, November 4
    4:00–6:00pm College Choir Rehearsal with Dr. Rob Natter – Paul Recital Hall
    7:30pm Into the Woods – Majestic Theatre
    *Complimentary tickets are available prospective students and their families

    8:00–9:30pm Saxophone Quartet Rehearsal with Dr. Amanda Heim – Room 214
    Students interested in attending a rehearsal should plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time. All rehearsals will be held on the 2nd floor of Schmucker Hall.

    12:00pm *Lunch with Current Music Students – Dining Center
    1:00pm Campus Tour – departs from 2nd floor lounge area
    1:00pm Jazz Information Session with Dr. Paul Austerlitz – Room 301E
    1:30pm Music Composition Information Session with Dr. Avner Dorman – Room 215
    2:00pm Music Education Information Session with Dr. Russell McCutcheon – Room 117
    3:00pm *“Now Hear This” Student Recital Hour – Paul Recital Hall
    4:00pm Bullets Marching Band Rehearsal – Memorial Field
    5:00pm String Reading Session with Dr. Adam Cordle – Room 117
    7:30pm Into the Woods – Majestic Theatre

    *All registrants should plan to attend these sessions in addition to one of the campus tour times.

    Students who cannot attend a Saturday audition may request a Friday audition by contacting Greta McNally at gmcnally@gettysburg.edu. Financial Aid appointments may be made by calling 717-337-6611. If you requested an Admissions interview as a part of your day, Mary Smith (mlsmith@gettysburg.edu) will be in touch with you regarding your specific time. These will be held in Schmucker Hall.
