As part of your audition for the Sunderman Conservatory of Music, you must complete an aural skills assessment. In your aural skills assessment, you will be asked to demonstrate skills by vocally matching pitches, singing simple intervals, and performing a simple rhythm and melody at sight. You will not need a keyboard for your aural skills assessment. Your aural skills assessment will be scheduled on the same day as your audition. Auditions and aural skills assessments will be held on the following dates. Please select the date on which you wish to schedule your appointment. Appointments will be scheduled between the hours of 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Eastern Time depending on faculty availability. You will be contacted by the Sunderman Conservatory scheduler with details about your appointment times and locations.
As part of your application and audition for the Sunderman Conservatory of Music, you must complete a virtual interview with a faculty member, as well as an aural skills assessment. In your interview, you will be asked to sight-read/sing a brief piece on your instrument or voice part, so please be sure to have your instrument at the ready. In your aural skills assessment, you will be asked to demonstrate skills by vocally matching pitches, singing simple intervals, and performing a simple rhythm and melody at sight. You will not need a keyboard for your aural skills assessment.
