    Are you interested in learning how you can get involved in music at Gettysburg College?  Do you have an interest in pursuing a degree in music and/or ensemble participation?  Then please join Mary Smith, Admissions Liaison to Sunderman, and several current Conservatory students for an engaging discussion of music opportunities within our Sunderman Conservatory.

    Additionally, we would like to invite you to attend our virtual Coffee with a Conductor sessions. Meeting the Sunderman Conservatory of Music Faculty, current music students, and get all of your questions answered!

    Conservatory Open House

    Join us on campus for our fall open house on Friday, November 4. A variety of music programs, informational sessions, and performances will be available throughout the day, and there are optional rehearsals you can attend on November 3, too!     4:00–6:00pm    College Choir Rehearsal with Dr. Robert Natter – Paul Recital Hall

    6:15-7:20pm    Piano Studio Class with Dr. Jocelyn Swigger – Paul Recital Hall

    7:30-9:30pm    EnVaGe Chamber Rehearsal with Dr. Cesar Leal – Majestic Theatre

    8:00-9:00pm    Saxophone Quartet Rehearsal with Dr. Amanda Heim – Room 214

    Students interested in attending a rehearsal should plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time.  All rehearsals will be held on the 2nd floor of Schmucker Hall (with the exception of EnVaGe).

    12:00pm          *Lunch with Current Music Students – Dining Center, Atrium

    1:00pm            Campus Tour – departs from 2nd floor lounge area

    1:00pm            Jazz Information Session with Dr. Amanda Heim – Room 215

    1:30pm            Music Composition Information Session with Dr. Avner Dorman – Room 215

    2:00pm            Music Education Information Session with Dr. Amanda Heim – Room 215

    3:00pm            * Junior Recital and “Now Hear This” Student Recital Hour – Paul Recital Hall

    4:00pm            Bullets Marching Band Rehearsal – Memorial Field

    8:00pm            EnVaGe (Orchestra/Chamber Strings) – Majestic Theatre 

    *All registrants should plan to attend these sessions in addition to one of the campus tour times

    Students who cannot attend a Saturday audition may request a Friday audition by contacting Irene Schrader at  Financial Aid appointments may be made by calling 717-337-6611.  If you requested an Admissions interview as a part of your day, Mary Smith will be in touch with you regarding your specific time.  These will be held in Schmucker Hall, Room 202.
